Can you feel it if you dilate? I am contracting a lot

I'm 33 weeks
I had my first baby at 35 weeks but I was very poorly so I don't know if it's the same sort of experience
The contractions are uncomfortable but not agony.
I have had 23 contractions in the last one hour and 15 mins

They last around 1 min
But the thing is I don't have any mucus or anything like that and I have had tightenings every single day since I was less then 20 weeks

Would I know if I was going into labour because it just doesn't feel like it but maybe I should get checked

Get checked things can move quickly.

Definitely phone for advice. With my second, my contractions weren't painful and I went to the hospital as soon as I could and was 7cm, so it can happen very quickly.

@Orangepear did you feel anything because I'm eating spaghetti
I mean I am uncomfortable but not like howling on the floor..
Did you feel anything in the vagina
I'll call Daycare and go up I think

Get checked. For me the dilation was very painful in between contractions - like my vagina was burning. I could definitely feel when it wasn't just contractions anymore. But if you're contracting that much you should get checked. I didn't have any mucous or waters go before labour.

I would get ready and go into hospital- just to be on the safe side.

Icedlatte · 19/05/2019 14:53

Hi op, please get checked.
No, I couldn't feel dilation at all.

roundligament · 19/05/2019 14:55

Ok I'll pop up
Thank you

No, I couldn't feel the dilation. I was 40 weeks so I knew it was actual labour. I have a photo of me reading a story to my youngest while I waited for my mum to come and look after her, so it wasn't overwhelming at all. Do call the hospital, best to get checked.
