Just that really! I've still got a fair few weeks left before d day, but I like to be prepared early.

Which knickers would you recommend post birth and why?

Thanks 🙏

Im0gen that doesn’t sound normal to me!

My bleeding was like a heavy period for the first week (pad needed changing every 2 hours) but then a normal period for another week after that (change needed every 3/4 hours).

M & S black boy shorts or high legs, both come up high enough to not irritate your scar if you need a section. Tenalady or Always depends incontinence pants would be ideal for the first couple of weeks, they don't slip or come unstuck like wearing a pad & the elastic prevents leaks.

I don't think the bleeding is worse if you have a CS or a vaginal birth. It's from the same cause either way.

It's definitely heavier than a period, especially for the first week or so after birth, but with both of my vaginal births I was down to light bleeding after a week and finished by 3.

I did the multipack of Primark black full briefs, they're so cheap you can just throw them right away when they inevitably get bloodstained.

I had disposable pants for the first week then massive black cotton pants think they were high waisted ones.

I've been wearing M&S cotton/modal big pants throughout pregnancy in my regular size and will buy them in black in a bigger size for birth and after. Love them.
