So I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my first. In the middle of a currently two day long period of reduced movements - baby is manically active as a normal thing, most likely because he's massive! I'm in for CTG tracing on a daily basis until Monday as I have an emergency scan then. He's showing up on the trace as quite happy, with some movements - just not as much as normal - and no one can tell me what's happening... Been a terrifying pregnancy (had a haemmorhage for majority of first and second trimester) and when I asked next steps if he's not happy on the CTG got told he'll be coming out! I know he's okay too but would really appreciate if any advice/similar stories that ended well!

Mines a kind of similar story. I went in 6 times for reduced movements, each time the monitor said all was fine, I even had a pretty shitty reception from one doctor because he felt I'd gone in too much for clearly no issues but I knew something wasn't right.
They decided to induce me at 40+1 (day after my final reduced movements check) as I'd been in a few times and funnily enough when I was in labour I had doctors in and out all night as her heart rate was all over the place and they couldn't work out why. They did a blood test from her head (whilst she was inside still) to check her oxygen I think, but again no issues found. She came out perfectly fine and to this day I still don't know why her movements were so all over the place! But knowing that when I was being continually monitored they also found something wasn't quite right made me realise I really did do the right thing by questioning it.
Just go with your gut if you feel something isn't right, at the end of the day us mums are the only ones who really feel anything and we really do know best when the baby is still inside!
Good luck with it all 😊
