Oh hell, my waters just popped all over the sofa!! Best get pumping the birth pool up! No-one is around on my AN thread and I can't find the charger for the camera! ARSE!!

God I'm scared now!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Katy44 · 22/06/2007 21:26

Good luck hollyandalice...we're all waiting for news!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 21:29

Nope, no baby yet! I think the contractions are starting though! Feeling the constant urge to poo which is how it started last time! I didn't scream last time, so hopefully dd will sleep through it.

The pool has a bloody puncture and I forgot to buy a sieve! The puncture is tiny and slow, so it'll be fine if we keep pumping it, but the sieve issue is dire !

The sofa is soaking and so is the floor!!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 21:31

Get back onto ebay and leave negative feedback straight away about the birthing pool

IdrisTheDragon · 22/06/2007 21:38

Good luck .

(read the later messages before the whole thread and thought "you really don't want to tape up that hole ).

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 21:39

Don't you have a sieve in the kitchen? Put it through the dishwasher after, it'll be fine. You'll smile about it every time you bake!

tortoise · 22/06/2007 21:39

Oooh how exciting.Good luck.

annobal · 22/06/2007 21:40

LoL at fried placenta for breakfast!

This is so exciting!

Don't wake your DD, she'll be fine. She may even wake up to a new sibling in the morning.

Thinking of you HAA, sending gentle effective labour vibes!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 21:45

I've got to go to hospital. There's meconium in the waters. No water birth, constant monitoring and labour ward not mw unit. I'm gutted and crying. I'm going in a minute. I've got everyone's numbers, who shall I text when it happens?
