Cancellation of induction...

Going in for an induction on Monday. I have to call at 6am for a time to head in. Any idea what the chances are of them saying 'sorry, no room!'

Been diagnosed with placental insufficiency and this was arranged on Thursday, so I'm high risk as opposed to simply being overdue (not at all saying that the latter is less important however!).

I know two people who have had inductions cancelled at the same hospital. They were both going in because they were overdue.

Very nervous this is going to happen to me!

I don’t have any experience unfortunately but I would like to think that as yours is booked for medical conditions you would be a priority over those otherwise healthy but overdue inductions. If yours is cancelled for any reason then I would be arguing that fact, that any further delay is impacting the safety of your baby. Good luck and I hope it all goes as planned x

I had mine booked because of high blood pressure and I'd had glandular fever. They didn't cancel mine.
