PPRoM w/#1 risk factor for #2 ?

Wasn't too sure whether to post this in pregnancy or childbirth.
Decide on Childbirth as the ultimate question is where will I be allowed to birth.

Anyway

With my DS I had PPRoM but at 36+5 (so very almost term!) and he was safely born at 37 weeks.

But will this history with previous pregnancy make me a higher risk pregnancy / birth with #2 ? If so, I guess this means I won't be able to give birth in my local MLU because they only take straight forward pregnancies with no complications in previous pregnancies. Does this also rule me out for a home birth?

I wanted to give birth either at home or MLU because I had a traumatic labour with #1 in hospital and I really do not think I can face going back there. I still suffer with flash backs, nightmares and terrible guilt.

Anyone know or any advice they can give?

I had this with DS2 and it didn't affect my 3rd pregnancy at all... in fact I was able to give birth at a birthing centre rather than the hospital!

Does not make you high risk for birth, but potentially higher risk of breaking waters pre term again. Doesn’t atop you bookinghomebirth however

My first was born at 35 weeks exactly after SPROM, I've since had 4 more and none were early and I've never had my waters break before labour started again either. In fact each of my pregnancies has gone a few days longer than the last. Now 29w with no.6 and have a homebirth planned.

Arrived at -

35w
39+5
40+1 (went into labour on due date but she arrived at 3am the next morning so only 3 hours late!)
40+3 MLU
40+5 Homebirth

You shouldn't have any problems booking into the MLU, they would just say that if your waters do break early you should go to the hospital.

I had the same at 35+4. Currently 12 weeks with no 2 and have been told no probs with mlu or home if I carry to 37 weeks this time. Crossing fingers!
