Natural labor after an induction:Here's a question

Ok, yesterday I was at my OB/GYN and I was asking her about when I wouldn't be pregnant anymore (Currently 36 weeks and fed up) She asked about my first baby and I told her that I was induced at 38 weeks, quick labor and delivery, no complications.

Her reply to me was that I should expect to go into labor around 38/39 weeks.

My question is this: "If you had a successful induction before 40 weeks, did you go into labor naturally before 40 weeks with other pregnancies?"

I cant answer as my own experience is 2 inductions at 42 weeks.

Why were you induced at 38 weeks?

Its a good sign that the induction was quick as this hints that your body was pretty ready to go anyway at that time. Induction often takes a long, long time because your body isnt ready. So if yours was easy and quick yours probably was!

well, when you expect to go into labour, and when you do, can be two entirely different things!!!

why were you induced, remind me?

I was induced at 38 weeks for high blood pressure.

I know it's an odd question, but I'm just interested if there's a correlation between the two.

I was booked for an induction at 38 weeks (also for high blood pressure) last time but my waters went at 37+1 and i was put on a drip at 37+3 and delivered in 7 hours.
My Bp is fine this time under medication but they still want to induce me I'm worried that if they have to start from scratch (without my waters breaking) they will start me off with pessaries and I will be trying to go into labour for a week!

first induced 42
second arived on time
3rd was ment to be induced at lunch time came at home first thing.
If your health is ok this time you can refuse to be induced or at least delay it (not that many women want to wait any longer) But it does seem to go that some people just carry longer.

Ummmm I was induced at 42 weeks and had the second naturally at 41+4.

Not sure if that helps or not!
