First twin, direct OP presentation. Head appears, she opens her eyes and looks straight up at me and I swear she winks

Second twin, footling breech, delivered vaginally (big at my unit), just slips out - amazing.

Apgars 9 @ 1 minute and 10 @ 5 minutes. Within half-an-hour, the mum is stripped off and skin-to-skin with both of them. They both pretty much latch themselves on at the same time and are gulping away like, well, like they were born to do it

Honestly, sometimes this job rocks. And not just because I barely had to do a thing!

Oh, coddy, you seem so cwoss. Do you think a lickle bit of skin-to-skin might make you feel better?

I have to say that I have a new-found respect for the docs at my unit. They were all extremely positive about vaginal delivery and section was only mentioned as a last resort, which is very unusual in a hospital with a section rate wobbling around 29%
