Signs of imminent labour?

I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant, know that the baby is seriously ill and have been warned that I have a much higher than normal risk of premature birth.

Today I have had diarrhoea, an ache in my lower back and pelvis and lots of braxton hicks.

None of the symptoms are similar to my first pregnancy, but seem similar to when I've had medical management of miscarriages.

Should I be phoning the labour ward or is it safe to wait and see, as there's no bleeding or leaking waters and the baby's movements are normal? I'd prefer to wait, as they're bound to want to check me and last time I was there til 2am!

Please contact your hospital/midwife if you are unsure what to do. They would much rather you speak to them and it be a false alarm. Hope all is well.

critical situation you have to face. I think it will not be a miscarriage. Premature births doesn't always ended up with miscarriage. My cousin also gave premature birth. Her baby is healthy. It's better for you to go to hospital. Your midwife/gynaecologist can better lead you. May be you need to admit in hospital. There are much chances of baby birth in next two weeks. So take care of your health. If you feel any brownish discharge or large contractions the immediately go to hospital. I hope for a safe baby birth. Prayers for you. I'm waiting for updates.
