I haven't, but I know someone who has. She was told that there is a minor operation that can sort it out, but not worth doing until you're not planning any more pgs. She wasn't sure she'd finished her family, so did TONS of pelvic floor exercises, religiously, and it sorted itself out. But it took about a year, I think . her GP was apparently quite surprised that she'd managed to sort it out herself.

Hope there might be someone else with more info for you - good luck!

Hi Kelly,

I had a forceps delivery after a failed ventouse - initially I had a lack of sensation which meant I did not notice a problem but I had horrible constipation which exacerbated a previously undectected prolapse. At my six week check-up I was advised that I had a vaginal and bowel wall prolapse and it has been horrible - a dragging, uncomfortable feeling that has made me feel tired and irritable. I have been trying pelvic floors and seen a physio privately who advised me that my muscle tone was not so bad but that I needed to initiate a Taliban-like regime on the pelvic floors. My daughter is now 4 months old and I feel that my prolapse is better but not solved. I will be going back to my GP in about two weeks to see how I should proceed.
I definitely feel that time is the healer in many ways but I you also have to really work on the excercises and above all avoid getting constipated as it causes havoc with the bowel wall.I will keep you posted if you are interested but you are not alone!
