I?m expecting my second baby and I actually picked Lewisham as my GP told me 95% will got there from his clinic.
I had my first with St. Thomas and they were very good.

Does anyone have any experiences with Lewisham or Kings?

Hi I was booked into Lewisham for my 2nd DD. I called in when my contractions were 5 minutes apart & was told to come in, which I did. When I arrived I was examined & told to go home & take paracetamol as my waters hadn't broken therefore I wasn't in labour.
By the time my DP & I had reached the taxi rank just outside my contractions were 2 minutes apart. I refused to go back to lewisham & went to Kings instead. My daughter was born within 40 minutes in the sack.
Personally I wouldn't recommend Lewisham but then the aftercare at Kings wasn't great either (& I work there!)
Working in a hospital though I do know that there is an option as you have patient choice - you can choose so if you want St Thomas's ask for it!
