I'm expecting my first baby and I can choose between three hospitals in South London. I don't know anything about any of them. Does anyone have any recommendations or words of caution? Thank you.

I had DD in St G Oct 2005. Really good labour experience. The after care was OK in that someone showed me how to top and tail, someone came and checked if I was bleeding too much and someone else tried (unsuccessfully) to help me with breast feeuing. The surroundngs are far from glam but thats to be expected really. They wanted to keep me for 2 nights but I discharged myself vecause I was so tired (4 bed bays). I ahve moved out of St G's area now and I am rather sad about it as I would have liked to have the next one there.
