I'm pregnant and in Merseyside - but on the Wirral, not near Ormskirk!

mrsdarcy · 13/03/2007 20:37

One late miscarriage, one live birth. Lots and lots of appointments in between spanning virtually every department. I had my other 2 children elsewhere in the UK and LWH was the best.

I've heard very good things about Ormskirk, though. My sister in law had her 2 children there and thought it was great.

How many have you had at LWH, Nemo?

lulumama · 13/03/2007 22:21

wow ! thanks for the interest, especially from those not even pregnant !

NH101 - will look forward to seeing you ! redfraggle..if you live closer, it would be lovely to have met up and done a bit of VBAC chat !

mrs darcy been there for all 3 of my children[3yr old 14mths and 2mths] and also for mc.

lulumama · 16/03/2007 14:23

baby day is also useful for mums of toddlers!

just had a meeting re the baby day and it is going to be toddler orientated too, so not just for pregnant ladies and mums of newborns !

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh interesting..what type of things then lulu?

lulumama · 16/03/2007 14:25

well, there will be various stands, for swimming, local nurseries, real nappies, baby signing, tumble tots etc...so it is not soley aimed at newborns...also, there will be homestart, fire brigade, CAB and various other interesting stands !

have a list somewhere !

I have dipped in and out of this thread and noticed the baby day but i can't make it to Ormskirk as I don't drive. Would have loved to have gone tho.

Hi Typhoonsmum, I am 33 weeks pregnant with second baby and will be at Arrowe too! (Waves hello!)

typhoonsmum · 23/04/2007 09:28

You may see me knocking about in Arrowe. I work on the Gynae wards next door to the mat ones. If you see a tall dark haired nurse in a Maternity uniform walking about smile. It's probably me. (ps uniform will be white not light blue like the midwifes)

RedFraggle · 23/04/2007 13:07

I will keep a look out for you! I'm in to see the consultant in 3 weeks time. I will be the tall, waddling one with the red-headed little girl in tow!

typhoonsmum · 23/04/2007 13:44

What Cons are you under.

I picked the one I wanted. I'll give you the lowdown on your doctor.
