Waters have broken.... what now?!

hello
I've just come back from the hospital - I woke up this morning at 4 to my waters breaking.. phoned the hospital at 7ish and they told us to come in to check if it was actually waters or just wee...
So. it was the waters (hurrah) but the hospital visit thing was a bit annoying as they went straight on to talk to us about induction if labour doesn't progress. We eventually agreed to book in for an induction on Wednesday, but my plan is if nothing has happened then still, I think I will still play for more time.
I had some little contractions earlier, not very painful, lasting 10-20 secs, ranging from 5 mins apart to 20 mins apart. Right now I just have periody type aches, so it looks like nothing much is happening?
Anyone got any advice or had this happen to them?

Helllo!
I am home! and am probably hallucinating from lack of sleep and baby love.
I've put some photos on the profile page OF COURSE he is even more beautiful in real life...

His birth was a bit different to what we'd expected - the contractions finally got going properly on Monday eve, and when we went to the hospital at about 2am, I was 5cm dilated, and the birthing pool was free, which I'd secretely hoped for - so, everything was looking good, and I kept dilating pretty well. But then, at about 5am, everything suddenly slowed down. I had a full bladder but couldn't wee, and eventually the midwife suggested a cathether and we got going again. But the second stage seemed to go on forever, and at 9.30 he was still not here.. My pushing had got bub's head a fingertips length from the outside world but no further. His heart rate was strong and good, but the mw got worried that his head was beginning to swell, and that I was in danger of hurting my pelvic floor through pushing and pushing and pushing. So. The dr advised that we go into Theatre, have a spinal and try to get him out with ventouse, and me pushing some more to help. If that didn't work, we'd be in there and ready for a C section. It worked tho HURRAY and Frank Feliks was born at 10.10 on Tuesday.
Craziness.
