I've been having them on and off all day and I'm very tired now. How are you doing?

hope that TR has "popped one out"

Good Luck cadbury, must be soon for you, are you still having contractions ? xx

tortoise · 07/02/2007 16:35

Ahhh will it look like this?

filthymindedvixen · 07/02/2007 17:48

that's fab

NappiesGalore · 07/02/2007 18:09

excellent pic there tortoise. she could use that on her birth announcement!

Cadbury · 07/02/2007 19:03

all gone quiet on the contraction front. Have definitely had a show but nothing else all day. My bump is permenantly tight and very tender - especially as baby is wriggling so much still. There is apparantely nothing I can do but wait and frankly, I'm exhausted. At this rate, when my body actually decided to do what it's meant to, I'll be too knackered to deliver. I'm so afraid I'll end up in hospital in 2 weeks getting induced.

So we haven't heard anything about TR then? Hope all has gone well and to plan for her.

cadbury...try to rest then....things are happening, the show means you are starting to dilate....hang on in there..make sure that you are eating and drinking and resting when you need to.x

Cadbury · 07/02/2007 19:19

I think dh is going to have to go back to work tomorrow or he'll have used up all his annual leave before this one turns up - trouble is the snow is on it's way down here and he's worried about not getting home in time of things (heaven forbid) do kick off. And with dh back at work, I'll be doing the 2 45 min long round trips for the school run again. Not much rest there.

lulumama · 07/02/2007 19:20

can a friend do that for you? mind you, they break up on friday where we are, do yours?

Cadbury · 07/02/2007 19:23

I could ask various people to deliver the kids for me, but tbh, that isn;t the bit I'm dreading really - it's facing everyone. I'm in tears so much today about all this that I just know I'm eityher going to start shouting or burst into tears at the first to the fiftieth people who ask me if I'm still there then. I guess I'm not looking forward to walking in the snow either - I traditionally fall over but what's the worst that can happen - I go into labour as a result - maybe that's the answer!

lulumama · 07/02/2007 19:24

awwwwwwww.....((hug and back rub)) it is such a pain ,isn;t it..all the jovial..'you not had it yet' , or 'wow ! you are enoooormous'

be careful though if it is snowy....

Cadbury · 07/02/2007 19:31

don't mind me - I know I'm wallowing in self pitty and disappointment. I'm fairly sure my midwife was annoyed when I rang her earlier for a moan about my lack of progress. Just need an injection of cheerfulness to get me through the next few days(weeks?)

OP posts:
lulumama · 07/02/2007 19:33

eat a lot of chocolate !! don' worry about the midwife, she is used to the despair of heavily pregnant women....!

JillybeansNW · 07/02/2007 21:40

{{{{hugs}}} to cadbury. I popped on to see if there was a little rhino yet?

sorkycake · 08/02/2007 06:53

Oh Cadbury it's crap isn't it?
I only popped on to see if TR had delivered as well Jilly.
It won't be long now Cadder's, promise! Then you can get cross with all the same peeps who prevent you from getting home within 2 hours from the s/run, because they want to ask you inappropriately personal questions about the delivery! LOL
Time for another sandwich board then:
Yes I have had the baby, s/he was mahoosive & my fanjo resembles a bucket, it's day 17 and I'm still frightened of poo'ing....carry on, nothing to see.

lulumama · 08/02/2007 07:26

big hugs and back rubs for cadders & sorky and everyone else waiting for LOs to arrive

Flamesparrow · 08/02/2007 08:19

Huge baby squeezing out hugs to Cadbury

Has no-one got a mobile number for trinity???

Cadbury · 08/02/2007 08:41

hello folks - still here.
Thankfully dh didn't get to go into work becasue of the snow - would probably have got a train ok but the journey to the station would have been too tracherous.

Tried sex again - nothing resembling a nice strong contraction since but an awful lot of uncomfortable aching in the pelvic region and lower back. Did get some sleep last night but that might have been the wine helping that along. Really praying something kicks off soon.

Thanks for your good wishes an sympathy. How are you doing Sorky?

OP posts:
sorkycake · 08/02/2007 08:46

Not too bad today, but Dh is only working half day today, gone in this morning .
Status quo on the BH front. I really wobbled yesterday, emotionally, but seem to be through that. Love your profile pics btw!

JillybeansNW · 08/02/2007 09:13

Hey Sorky - glad you got some sleep, sorry you weren't feeling so well yesterday {{{hugs}}}. Hope you feel better today. I am sending lots of good labour vibes your way.
