Elective caesarean date?

For how many weeks pregnant was your elective caesarean booked?
I was aiming for a Vbac but have decided last ish minute to have a c section, I wasn't sure at what stage I would have this?

I had one exactly 3 weeks ago at 37+4. Last one was an emcs with all sorts of stuff going wrong at the end. So earlier this time to avoid that happening again. Had to have steroids for lungs though.

39+2 and wasn't booked in until 34ish weeks - I was on pins as my previous baby came at 38+5 so was terrified that I would go into labour before and that they would force me to have a vaginal birth...
I'm sure they wouldn't have but I was completely unreasonable at that stage of pregnancy!
