How overdue did you go???

And was it through choice? ie did you get offered an induction at any point?

didnt go over - dd born at 39 weeks; ds at 37 weeks

would have loved to have gone past the date though

11 days, induced at 10 but took 3 doses of prostin to get me going

17 days and 19 days. was offered induction earlier and held out. it didnt work

I was induced on day 10. DD was born on day 12 over, by c section.

19 days and 10 days..i held out naturally for both

Induced on 41 weeks, failed induction ended in C-section on 41 +3 days

I was seven days over but they wanted to induce because baby seemed very big. Was due to be induced on the monday but waters broke on sunday night and ds was born monday night at nearly eleven pounds like a cork from a bottle.

Really interesting thread (for me anyway!) Was 13 days overdue with DS - went in for induction but when they examined me they decided I was dilated enough not to need it - I did have waters broken though. No. 2 is now 1 day overdue, and I am thinking that will be a few days before arrives. Interesting to see that others have gone quite overdue for subsequent births. I definitely feel that DS came out on the 'right' date and wasn't really overdue.

DS1 was 8 days early
DS2 was stillborn
DD3 was 3.5 weeks early
DD4 was 9 days overdue.

Was booked in to be induced on day 10.

Sweep i had on day 7 did the job.

When i got to hospital, midwife wanted to send me home.

Finally agreed to examine me and i was 5 cm.

Mums do know best!!!!

juuule 9 kids!!!!!! What do you do with your spare time??

Induced at 40+15 (gutted because I had planned a birthing centre midwifery led birth) but it went ok with no real medical intervention just lots of gas&air and pethidine
