With my first baby I had a lot of bruising and discomfort after the birth. Not having known about Arnica last time but having seen people on mumsnet talking about it I've decided that I have nothing to lose if I take it this time, might work, might not but hey I'll try it. Oh and it is ok to take it while breasfeeding isn't it?
I have been to the health food shop in town and asked them about Arnica and the only ones they stock are 30c and 60c. I asked if they had Arnica 200 as that had been recommended and the lady gave me a scornful look and said that it only comes in a potency of 30c or 60c. I said that I knew of people (fellow mumsnetters) who had taken Arnica 200 and she said that the person must have been mistaken as it they don't make a dosage as high as that.
So have I got it wrong? Am I looking for a bottle of Arnica tablets with 200 tablets in it or am I looking for Arnica tablets that are 200c? What does the c stand for by the way just out of interest?
I've checked out Boots and our health food shop is Holland and Barrett neither of which can help me.
Please could someone enlighten me as to which Arnica tablets I'm supposed to be buying?
