Hey I am new to this. Well I only have 1 child but giving birth to my daughter was the hardest thing. 2 days in induced labour and when it was time to push I gained a fever and I had to have a c section. What an awful experience. When people say giving birth was amazing I can't help and be like REALLY. Because that shit has scared me for life so I keep my contraceptive pills close to me. Hahaha

My 4th pregnancy was twins so maybe different from you. It was an ok pregnancy and a relatively straightforward labour thankfully, could have been very different.

4th pregnancy same as all others really. Birth quickest and easiest by far. She was my biggest at 10lb 5oz.

Pregnancy horrendous, diabetes and pup (horrendous itching)

Induced on request at 38 weeks, quick straight forward birth

Pregnancy was horrendous with severe hyperemesis until 36 weeks. Admitted at 27 weeks on to labour ward and treated for TPTL then on bed rest for AGES. Two GTTs as when I wasn't peeing ketones, I was peeing lots of glucose. Then I had a 25 min labour including a shoulder dystocia. I'm not entirely surprised that DD3 is such a feisty no-so-little madam!

And yet here I am, 13 weeks with DC5...

Number 4 was going really well but ended up being a funny presentation and I had a small aph so ended up in theatre for forceps. Up till that point it was my most chilled out and least painful though. No faster then the rest.

Lol Grin

I hAve three under almost 4yrs, all brilliant pregnancies, and super fast labours. I had a pph after dd1 but still class it as great. Dd2 was unknown back to back, 58mins, super fast, Ds was an hour or less.very relaxed, massaged with lavender oil was so in the zone lol 8lb 9, 8lb1.5, and 8lb 14.

The only negative was I felt very tired the first trimester with all three, (but who doesn't?) and with my boy I did have two days of CHRONIC pain where I couldn't walk from PGP. And the fact that I now have really bad split muscles... Is it mad that it's not put me off? Shock

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks ;-)

So far though each pregnancy has been physically harder. I'm lucky in that I haven't had any real complications but have felt more tired (read exhausted), and in this fourth pregnancy have had SPD.

My labours have all been long and I'm not buying into the idea that labours get easier as my third was my hardest (although the first was the longest labour by far). With all of them I've had contractions for over 24 hours (3 days with the first) and find that the hardest part tbh - at least later on the end is in sight and something is happening! The third took two hours of pushing rather than the half hour or so I had with the others. I gave birth at home with 2 and 3 so no intervention whereas I had an epidural in hospital for dc1. I'm still holding onto a little bit of hope that this one might be easier!

I had my fourth 11 days ago, pregnancy was by far the easiest except the last few weeks dc3 is only 13 months so needed lifting and carrying still as only just walking so physically it was tough. The birth was ok but his heart rate dropped as did my blood pressure so ended up with a ventouse which wasn't what I was expecting (is it ever?!) but everything fine after that.
I'm finding the early days with four much easier (so far) than being heavily pregnant with three.

my 4th was my worse, he was back to back, I was fully dilated but he was still high up in my womb, had to go to theatre twice, and he was finally delivered by keilands forceps, but the pregnancy was ok, just hard going with 3 others to look after, my sil on the other hand had 5 was home next day with all of them and only in labour a few hours and all straight forward, but she is 5ft 7 and im only 5 foot, so don't know if that has anything to do with it.
