Back-to-back here too.
Induction started at 6pm, 5cm dilated by 5am, gas and air until about 7am (when I felt so nauseous, I was much better off without it!), diamorhpine around 10am (amazing! was able to really relax between contractions), ready to push at 2pm, two hours of pushing ("you need to push harder / longer" "I am f@*!ing pushing as hard as I can"!) into theatre at 4pm - spinal block (absolute bliss by this point!), forceps delivery, tear and episiotomy. Baby son arrives at 4.20, weighing 10lbs, 38cm head circumference - "no wonder you had trouble getting him out"! Thanks Shock
Didn't really have any specific back pain, it really was all over!
Good luck op - you've got the advantage over me - I found out I was b2b whilst trying to push!

DS was b2b, only discovered when he appeared face up in the water :) Very fast, intense labour - not dissimilar to DD, when I was induced straight to drip and she shot out.

Did both on gas and air but there was a lot bit of writhing on the bed with DS before I had a pause (I just couldn't get up before the pause and had to really steel myself) and could get into the pool, which helped enormously.

15 and a half hours labour with 3 hours of pushing. Diamotphine did it for ne Grin but with it managed really well aparently. No screaming til his head come haha. Just had horrible lower back pains none in my tummy. Needed to go on a drip to stretch contractions out but all went well in the end, i wouldnt worry u forget it all soon as babys here Thanks goodluck!

Horrific, but as you can see experiences vary hugely. Good luck

If you are not actually already in labour then try and spend the time you have left in a forwards position - on hands and knees, leaning over a birth ball etc etc to see if you can get any chance of movement round so less back to back. See here for tips on optimal foetal positioning for birth.

I had a back to back labour for dc1 - it was long, tiring and slow and I puked every hour which was worse than the contractions! I had an epidural in the end and it was bliss but slowed things down even further. But dc1 born eventually with help of ventouse as I could not really feel to push and she kept popping back in!

my 2nd baby boy was back 2 back. the contractions were in my lower back and really quite uncomfortable and sore! but I could handle them for about 6 hours then I decided I wanted a epidural and he was born 3 hours later. I did have quite a bad tear and when I was contracting he was trying to turn and thank fully turned whilst getting closer to delivery so was really uncomfortable. but everyones experience is different and everyone has different pain thresholds so try not to get yourself scared!
