VBAC following multiple Caesarean Sec's

Has anybody successfully managed a VBAC following 2 or more sections?

Or, has anybody opted for VBAC but then had to have emergency section due to complications?

I'm really weighing up my options but need to give my answer by the end of November!

Just place marking as am considering a VBAC after 2 sections (one emergency, one elective). My consultant is very supportive. I'm due in December so don't have all that long to decide.

SomeSunny I was the same, 1 emergency and the other, elective. Can I ask the reason(s) for your emergency?

Emergency section was due to a failed forceps delivery at fully dilated - basically DS was stuck.

My elective was purely because I was too chicken to go for a VBAC (and I sort of regret than now).

Hi, I'm in same boat. I have section booked for Wednesday but still questioning if it's the right choice. I couldn't bear another emergency section though so I suspect I'll go ahead.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

I had a c-section for a breech birth and then more of an emergency one with waters going a bit early and not dilating at a good rate. Happy with them and recovered well.

Third time consultant was happy to go either way though VBAC would need more monitoring. I said no thanks I'll have another c-section. DC3 had other ideas and arrived very early at 30 weeks.

The whole thing was such a shock I would have preferred a section. But no problems with scar or birth itself.
