just wondering if anyone feels like they came home too early? I have a three year old who is boisterous so am thinking I might need a bit more time to recuperate but then I don't want to be having a horrific time being ignored.

I've had 3 sections, first was emergency (I was quite poorly as was my huge little bundle) and the other 2 were elective. Had to stay in for 5 day with all of them. However my sister was allowed home within 24 hours. I have no idea why they kept me for so long with the last 2

3 nights each I think with EMCS and ELCS, couldn't wait to get home as hospital was too noisy!

I would recommend checking with your midwife as there seems to be a big difference between areas/hospitals. I think my midwife told me 48 hours (if no complications). I'be got my 'pre-op' apt at the end of August so will ask for more info then. I had an emcs with my first and had to stay in due to an infection though I did discharge myself a day early. I just didn't find it relaxing. I'd just got DS fed and sleeping and someone would come in to do something or check something. Not their fault but I desperately wanted to be home. Am opting for an elcs this time round and am hoping to be out asap. I know it will be hard with a two year old also wanting my attention this time round but really, there's no place like home!
