Also did anyone go into labour shortly after this Ihave lost show/mucus plug since.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi! I had a second sweep today at 41+2 and had my first at 40+5... I have done nothing but lose mucous plug since (gross!). You may or may not go into labour as a result. I think it all depends on how 'ready' you are. My cervix was only 2-3 cm today and the baby's head was less engaged.
Being 2cm at your stage of pregnancy sounds quite good!
I think the posterior position is not the optimum for labour but am prepared to be corrected?
Good luck though - and I hope your baby doesn't make you wait too much longer! Grin
