Hi, new to mn and need some advice. After my first pregnancy in April I has a prolapsed bladder, also known as a cystocele. I have had follow up and with vigarous pelvic floor exercises, all is better. Now, my question is, next time I have a baby(god willing), do I opt for the offered C section or a natural birth. Is anyone out there who has had this, and gone on to deliver naturally after, and survived, bladder intact.

Hi, I had a cystocele and a rectocele after my baby in January. I'm still working on healing the rectocele. I've seen two gynaecologists and a specialist nurse and none of them seem to think I would need a c section next time and that it probably wouldn't happen again, although there is a chance that it might. My mum and sister both had something like this (they can't remember the details) after their first children, but went on to have two more with no problems. Does it make you feel depressed? Are you still breastfeeding? because apparently it heals better once you've finished. I'm still feeding and this is a factor in my deciding when to stop. Sounds to me like you've done well to heal in four months

Hi, I'm worried as I have cystocele and th GP gave me little info but has referred me to a physiotherapist, and in the meantime wondering about exercises? Also wondering about return of sensitivity in the sense of love=making and feeling its okay to make love. Finally, should i avoid carrying my baby in the carrier i wear, she's four months now?
thanks, sarah
