Any feisty women had all girls?

i cant bear all this gubbins about strong women have boys.
I have four and one girl.
My mum was a feisty stern and mad cow and had four girls.
Why do I ( a quite but not THAT domineering woman) keep being blessed with long tails?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I've got a fiesty friend with 3 girls.

I'm fiesty but have 3 boys.

Hmm, that helps the argument!

fairyfly · 01/08/2006 22:40

My pregnant cousin once told me she thought she was having a girl because she was so feminine and ladylike and thats what happened.

I didn't really no how to take it seeing i had boys.

Cheeky mare.

Latest news (was on BBC website last week) is that attractive people are more likely to have girls!

MarsLady · 01/08/2006 22:41

2 boys (one at each end) and 3 girls here.

My girls are as gobby as me! Sigh...............

I am feisty, in fact pretty stroppy when i get going and have 3 girls. Am raising my own little feminist utopia here.

hulababy · 01/08/2006 22:42

I wasn't convinced by the article TBH, but at least it is a counter arguement to the fiesty women - biys thing

Gobbledigook · 01/08/2006 22:43

At school - all the 'yummy mummies' (ouch) have boys. So ner.

Enid · 01/08/2006 22:45

what and all the knackered lot have girls?

hulababy · 01/08/2006 22:45

I have a girl but definitely not a yummy mummy!!! I am dreading the school run when DD starts in September already!

MarsLady · 01/08/2006 22:46

Excellent! Attractive and feisty.

Did they mention whether attractive, feisty women who had girls would win millions on the lottery?

NotAnOtter · 01/08/2006 22:46

I thought latest news was TALL people had boys

Gobbledigook · 01/08/2006 22:46

Hmmmm.....I'm just thinking off the top of my head that it just so happens that the girls mums are the ones that are not trendy, a bit frumpy. It means nowt I know! Am just responding to hula but of course not taking it seriously!

eidsvold · 01/08/2006 22:47

i have 2 dd's and fiesty would be the polite description people would use for me.

magnolia1 · 01/08/2006 22:47

I am feisty, strong and stubborn and have 4 girls. Not a single boy.......Yet

Gobbledigook · 01/08/2006 22:47

So I think we can conclude it's bollox then?

Enid · 01/08/2006 22:48

hulababy · 01/08/2006 22:48

JanH · 01/08/2006 22:52

I am very tall, have feisty & feeble moments, and have 2 of each, so that fits in nicely

Gobbledigook · 01/08/2006 23:01

LOL dinosaur!
