Just had my 36w checkup and baby is measuring full term and his spine is against mine, what does this mean exactly? Will he move etc? She also said it feels like he is going to be quite a big baby so to lay of sugar :/ why could this be?

Hi there, both of my babies were born back to back, never realised 1st time round she was back to back till fully dialated so i had a epidural and they attepted to turn her and managed to turn her a bit so she basically came out looking sideways lol.
2nd time midwife realised when i was overdue lol on this occasion they made no attempt to turn her and she was born that way.
I doubt baby will turn now but they do sometimes turn in labour as head engages more if this makes sense.

Try not to worry , its quite common the only thing i noticed was the contactions were more in my back x

and as for size thing i think they guess half of time they told me that with my 1st she was 6lb 10.
If they were really concerned they would send you for a growth scan x

My dd was b-2-b. She was heading that way from about 32 weeks and I did everything I could to try to move her... Yoga and lying on my front in the pool everyday for the last 6 weeks!!!! No go, she was born that way. She's happy and healthy though, and so is mum! Good luck x
