Braxton Hicks every ten minutes...

Am 38+3 and for the past couple of days have been getting Braxton Hicks about every ten minutes. They're not getting more intense, so I'm guessing these are not real contractions. Is this what they call 'pre-labour' do you think? Am wondering if i'm likely to pop soon or if this could go on for a few more weeks....

I had them for two or three days before and some really took my breath away. Then all went calm..... Good luck!

I'm having the same at 39+1... My midwife said it's all good progress but probably not the start of labour Confused

I had them for 3 days, then they got painful, then i gave birth. Fingers crossed its the start for you.

I had braxton hicks for weeks and weeks before I went into labour. They were regular just not painful. They started to get more intense the closer I got but still a week or two of intense and uncomfortable bh until I went into labour. They really issued me off!

They seem to have stopped today - which is a bit frustrating as I'm desperate to get this baby out. I'm a human weeble...

I had Braxton hicks from 14 weeks with Ds2! At 33 weeks, for 3 hours they were 7 mins apart before stopping. A pain...But my MW did say that it meant my uterine muscles were very strong and he was born very quickly!

My bh got v regular 6 days before my waters went to the point I fownloaded a contraction app! It all went quiet though after that intial burst.
