Waters breaking

When people say you may feel a 'trickle' rather than a gush if water, i just wondered how much a trickle is?!
Is it absolutely noticeable, or could it be mistaken for discharge or something?
I don't feel right tonight, all sorts of weird things going on, hoping labour is on its way!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

You can't stop it, if it's wee then you can. My first labour produced a trickle. Pop in a pad and it gets gradually wet and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Second labour I felt a pop and a massive gush! Good luck!

I have had three dc and my waters have never broken on their own

However I did once at 38 weeks go to the toilet and after I had finished my wee (tmi) some more came out which I was very panicked could be my waters

I had to get swabbed
And it wasn't

Was quite embarrassing though

With my first two, my waters breaking were the first sign.
At first, it felt like I had wee-ed in terms of amount. I ran to the loo, sat on it and more came out. When I thought it had stopped, I stood up and more came out. Like Sid says, there is nothing you can do to stop it coming out.

Mine was a little trickle. I would say it was the same amount you may get if you sneeze and a bit of pee comes out, if you know what I mean. But I could tell the difference as it happened everytime I stood up from sitting or lying down.
