Hello! Anyone got any recommendations out of these hospitals? I've heard kingston not great, and therefore had a few friends go to West Middlesex instead, but in the end their stories weren't great either!

I'm at West Mid. Was last time too! It was good enough but not spectacular. Their natural options - birth suite etc - are better I think, but otherwise probably about the same.

I am just coming up to 40 weeks, and have been very happy with the care i have received at west mid throughout this pregnancy and with a previous miscarriage. The maternity unit is quite new and has a 'natural birth centre' as well as a labour ward.

I had a fab Home birth with Kingston Home birth midwives.

Probably wouldn't have wanted to give birth in the actual hospital though.

Antenatal care I have no experience of as didn't have a permanent address anywhere and no-one gave a shit.

Gave birth in Kinston 2 weeks ago, I highly recommended them. The care given by the midwives was way above what I expected , everyone was very helpful and patient with me.

Thanks all! Sounds like either will be a good option :)
