Hi there

There is a lady on MN called Zipped (I think - or something similar) who has had SEVEN C-sections!!! When she had her last one, she used "unzipped" as the title of the thread!Grin

She has been on a few threads, but haven't seen her recently. I think she had a birth announcement (called Unzipped) a couple of months ago.

That was zipper Grin and I think the eldeat was 11 when she had the last [ahock]ShockShock

I've just had 4.

When I say "just" I mean "only", lol!

my brain is v addled (heat, i think) - i read your post as "anyone had three quarter c-sections?" ShockSmile now, what would the other quarter be?

My BIL's partner has 3 kids, all delivered by C Section. I think the general concensus is that no more than 3 is recommended but this varied from person to person.
BIL's partner has been told not to have any more because the lining of her womb is so thin, it could cause miscarriage or worse in further pregnancy. Her last CSection resulted in DN having a 2inch long gash on her head where the scalpol cut into her while the surgeon was making her incision.

However, as previously mentioned, Zipped has had 7 and all have been fine for her.

And Janh too. Think you would need to talk to your midwife/gp and let them know it is something you will be considering, therefore, if there is a specific reason you shouldn't they will be able to let you know.

ive had four, no problems with any of them
went to see my obstetrician before tried for 4th baby though to discuss -it proved useful later when mw queried it to say i'd done this and there was a letter in the notes where he'd discussed the risks with me

hi rosilyzzie

Mytholmroyd · 19/06/2006 13:04

I had my first c-section 16 years ago and my fourth three months ago (not a planned pregnancy as I was told 3 was my limit). Even tho I am 45 it went fine and recovery has probably been quicker than any of the others and none of the complications I dreaded actually happened. Even the pain relief was better and I was up and about far quicker. Just wish they had thrown a tummy tuck in for good measure!:)
