Little survey to see how long people were waiting on the big day.
Thanks!

Our hospital has a separate theatre team for electives and emergencies. Apparently last week they did 20 ELCS so they can justify the team. I've been told to pitch up at 8am and baby will be here by lunch time :)

Number one, 11am (had to wait for an emergency)
Number 2, 10.30. I was the only one planned that day so none of us were in a rush.

Arrived at hosp 8.30, DS born at 9.29.
Smooth service, I was quite taken aback. Should have been 2nd on list, but strategic waxing meant no shave for me and I was whisked right in.

DD1 - was 5th (last) on the list and she arrived at 3.08pm. They ended up having an emergency section after me too.

DD2 - was first on the list and she arrived at 9.06am. The procedure started at 9.02!

Separate theatre for the electives at my hospital too.

I was second on list and DD arrived at 11.03am.
