Poss TMI but could really do with some advice!

I had my baby girl 4 weeks ago and I could do with some advice please... From about 3 weeks ago, I started with a pain in my clitorus and it's still really painful! It's not all the time and it doesn't last long but it feels like someone is nipping me! I can't take any pain relief as its only minutes of pain and isn't consistent.. It can start when I get out of bed, when I get up from sitting down or when I go to the toilet and also when I do pelvic floor exercises. It's really sore and I wondered if this was common or if anyone else has had it and if there's anything I can do to stop it? Also, my bleeding has just about stopped but I do get some discharge on my pads. Would this have anything to do with the pain? I have showers every morning so I do keep it clean. I had to be cut but that feels better so I assume they have dissolved now. Can anyone help with this as its really getting me down. I want to enjoy my baby but sitting up in bed hurts so much that my husband has to pick her up during the night. Would really appreciate any advice!

I got this after being cut. Was usually a dull but very sore ache that sometimes 'pinched'

if it's that sore though it's worth getting looked at. Mine was most painful whilst the cut was infected and anti biotics cleared it right up :)

Tell your midwife or health visitor. You may have a urine infection or some such thing.

You shouldn't still be so sore you can't lift your baby after 4 weeks.

Congratulations though Smile

Would my health visitor deal with that or would I be best going to docs? I d

Sorry pressed wrong button! I don't know if I'd feel comfortable telling the health visitor! Thanks for the help

I'd go to the docs, if they know what it is they can give you something or sort it quicker than hv. Don't be embarrassed they've seen everything before. Hope you feel better soon
