History of fast labour - does it count if you were induced?

When it is suggested that you will have a relatively easy or quick birth because you have had a previous quick birth (in my case 3 hours active labour) do you think that includes if you were induced rather than going into labour naturally?

My last labour was 3 hours from breaking my waters having only had a pessary earlier. It was on my due date given a big baby and previous birth injuries and was fine. My first induced birth was a 36 hour horror with a drip ending in forceps.

I am under pressure to have another vaginal birth as I "had such an easy time before" but I do wonder about a second opinion as (I have posted in another thread) I have a pessary in to hold things up, three prolapses and a wrecked pelvic floor that only future surgery will fix. The senior midwife and consultant I have seen are aware of my history.

Would you go with the idea that it will inevitably be another quick labour or try and get a second opinion? I am happy to pay if necessary... I am not shopping for a particular outcome, I just want the best advice possible.

I had two quick labours, but would not say they were easy! First was 5 weeks early, 3 and a half hours after waters breaking the second 4 years later was 3 weeks early, 5 and a half hours after waters breaking. So I don't know if that helps that they followed sort of a pattern.

Tell them although it was quick it was not easy. Quick birth have their drawbacks also, I tore a lot, went into shock after, both babies in special care. Don't feel pressure of anyone, my consultant was great and I was monitored a lot towards the end because my consultant was worried about the early and quick factor. I was told to get to hospital ASAP with any signs of labour, my waters popped the night after a midwife told me the baby was breech, so I had a blue light ambulance pick me up as they were going to do an emergency c-section, at hospital I was scanned and whether he'd turned or was never breech, he was in the right position for a vaginal birth and out he popped 5 and a half hours later.
