ELCS and *ahem* fanjo gardening - TMI

ELCS scheduled for 21/12. Fanjo an over grown mess.. Im going to have a bit of a trim and thinking of starting to try and cultivate some sort of trim and tidy shape to maintain up to D-Day.

Last birth was EMCS and two midwives came at my muff Bics in hand! Comical at the time (was off my rocker!) but

Should I go for all off? Most off? Would I be better to trim (it really is a mess!) and then get waxed?

I had a bikini line wax ahead of birth which amused some of my friends no end. In the end I had an EMCS but all they shaved off was a little bit extra at the top so the could cut and the scar is therefore now hidden.
All off would probably not faze the MW's but a tidy is probably all that you need. Not really sure 'need' is the right word either - if you did nothing at all it would still be ok!

Can you see to trim it safely?! I would do waxing or hair removal cream. Makes things less messy afterwards too! Good luck

Thanks beamur its awkward isnt it? Its really not an attractive look either way, cant handle all off I dont think but feel I should have a tidy, tis like the wild

sweet with a bit of manouvering I can, the idea of immac burn scares me but guess i could use that (carefully) and trim off the more risky areas?!

I did a grade 2 type trim thing all over and when I showed the midwife who was prepping me she said that was enough... No razors required.

Be sensible, with a big bump there it'll be blardy impossible tricky to see what you're doing. Go see your salon...

I had mine waxed at 37 wks, beauty therapist said lots of mums come in for a tidy up before the big day! I got a pedicure at the same time.

blondie i was thinking of using mirrors? I worry a waxer would laugh or turn away in revulsion its really long!

No with a shaver / epilator I have, it has a trim attachment for "easy" epilation (it's a myth)... Not really a great look but hey.
