I think I would find another use for his signs, wouldn't you?

WWW I was pinotgrigio & veuveclicquot. I did have another name from 2002 but I can't remember it.

I appear to be more noticeable as arfissimo. This is nothing to do with cod. Grin

id challenge anyone to remain silent when your trying to pass a melon through the eye of a needle...

poppiesinaline · 31/03/2006 15:19

Shock If babies are traumatised through hearing their mothers groan and scream in childbirth then I had better start saving for their counselling in later life now! Grin

Pruni · 31/03/2006 15:23

Pupuce, are there any? (Are you serious?!)

SenoraPostrophe · 31/03/2006 15:26

it probably won't do too much harm for her to be silent while she takes the fat-suit off and is given an adoptive infant though will it?

Flamesparrow · 31/03/2006 15:28

Apparantly if you start off thinking about the staying silent thing, it gives you something to focus on other than the pain, and eventually you get into a sort of meditative state with it, and don't need to make a noise...

Not tried it myself though!

GeorginaA thanks for re-doing my link, I must figure that out sometime! I can't expect people to cut and paste...
You know, I got really irritated with dh during my labour for chit-chatting with the staff. If not total silence, then respectful whispering would have been nice.
Also near the end I hated that everyone was shouting and screaming, "push push", like I didn't know that's what I was supposed to be doing!

Piffle · 31/03/2006 16:05

Well recall in my first labour, my mum saying, you can make grunting noises if you want and then calling me un natural for being silent.
I was quiet throughout no 2 as well although did mutter fuck fuck fuck at one point, so my childs psyche is beyond repair apparently Grin

Woke up all the neighbours on Weds when my second Gas and Air cylinder was empty after one contraction!! The poor woman should let out a big scream whilst directing a foot to the balls!!Grin
