Im in labour with 2nd and at home alone, but it keeps stopping and starting , and has now stopped all together.
Any tips on how to get it going again, or any similar experiences.
Have also sent son to MIL, so don't even have him to keep me company!

I could barely wipe my own bum at 40 weeks let alone try to feel my own cervix!! :o

Enid · 29/03/2006 17:10

I really want to feel my cervix now

CarolinaMoon · 29/03/2006 17:12

Good luck, Thewill. Great to have Pupuce as an online Doula, huh?

thewill · 29/03/2006 17:57

surely something by now??

I had several stop and starts before it finally was the real thing! So frustrating. In the end you feel contractions but are in complete denial because you don't want to be disappointed again. I hope for you that you are quiet on here, because you are busy delivering a healthy bundle of joy. Second time round should be quicker than 52 hours, but then again, that easily done isn't it (51 hours for example, no, only joking). This time of night though I would defo opt for the sleeping option, no walking till morning Grin. Goodluck!
