Had DS this afternoon after all sorts of horrendous complications, (not least a severe reaction of the induction gel and a mad dash to theatre for an aborted crash section), but he's so scrummy and I can't stop looking at him. Obv am pumped full of happy hormones but still can't quite believe what he and I survived today and that I get to keep him!
Just wanted to share really!

More details! What does he weigh? Is he feeding well? Done a poo yet?

Spinaroo · 25/10/2012 22:46

Brilliant! Grin

Yes, I remember that feeling. You are far too jumpy to sleep that first day. You will, soon, though. Smile

LBsBongers · 25/10/2012 22:46

Congratulations! Welcome to the world little giraffe!

Be warned, you will almost certainly crash and weep within the next 3 days, OP! Just so it doesn't come as a shock when it happens... We've all been there, keep posting!

AgnesBligg · 25/10/2012 23:13

Couldn't not click on your thread aww, well done to both of you! Congratulations !

Whatsounddoesagiraffemake · 26/10/2012 21:23

Hi all! Badgerina, that's exactly what happened... All very frightening eh! After all that bubs was born 4 hours later after a 15 minute established labour so fab in one way but quite shocking in another.
Home now and still can't stop snuggling but waiting for the crash and burn in the next couple of days. Just enjoying the happy hormones while they last!
Now, off to smell that lovely bonce! Xx
