Has anyone had more than one ECV for a breech baby?

I had an ECV on Monday for breech baby - much to my amazement/delight it was successful. Baby moved very quickly and easily. The whole thing only took a few minutes and didn't even hurt. But I'm not convinced the little monkey hasn't moved back again. A friend suggested that if this is the case, rather than resign myself to a section, I could ask for another ECV, followed by immediate induction, if the ECV is successful again. It seemed a clever idea, but I've not heard of it being offered.

I'm not sure about having multiple ECV's, but I just wanted to come on to reassure you - my twins were both breech and they turned head down in the 37th week. So it's totally possible that your baby will still have time to turn again...

And I think with any kind of procedure like this, if you find a consultant who's willing to try it then they might. I had a consultant who was willing to do a version of the ECV to 'lift' one of my twins up so the other one could slide down (he was head down by that point, but DT2 had his foot under his brothers head). It wasn't needed in the end, but it did illustrate to me how if you can find doctors who are keen they'll try anything!

Thank you for replying. As of two days ago, baby was still obediently head down and engaged, so, fingers crossed, he/she won't turn again before I go into labour...
