Sorry bit of a rant...my mother in law is trying to convince my and hubby that all ladies within a week of a c section should be up and running and do all the housework and i am a big exaggerator for having my mum come and stay from abroad for 8 weeks.
She sais my spd is something everyone gets and i should stop bothering my husband and stop worrying him and get over myself....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

This is a woman who claimed she alsmost died during her urinary tract infection when we were abroad!!

Fuck me mosschops that's horrific! I feel quite sick now.

runnindownadream · 09/07/2012 22:40

Jeez 2 weeks after my emcs I couldn't carry ds upstairs as I could only bear to crawl up them. Ok I did then end up with an infection but I couldn't pick anything up from the floor!

Smile and nod and then ignore!

haha thanks for the support
i dont really care bout what she sais or thinks anymore...i said to hubby have a chat with your mother...he also thinks she is being silly
i will effin tell her where to go if she tries to stick her nose in to my business ever again ....whether itw for a c section or a designer bag i wish to waste 'her sons' money on
i have had enough ....
must be the hormones...
i will rest as much as i need
i will order hubby around even more now just to piss her off for the week she is here
i will even hire more help and i will even exaggerate to really get on her nerves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have nothing to loose....if she is not careful she will loose having a relationship with me and her grandkids all together....
i have been so nice to her ...just cant' do it nomore...
stupid cow

thanks ladies..your support really meant a lot

Go hormones!!

Seriously, you are right -- you have nothing to lose.

Jacksmania · 10/07/2012 05:40

Mosschops, love, I remember your birth story. Followed it quite closely (mostly lurking). (((((((((HUG)))))))))))))

OP, congratulations on finding your steel balls :o
Tell the old bat where to go.

Smile

im pretty good now after some more, very focussed counselling. The court case should be in the next 12 months and ive just changed jobs and have written my first masters piece on ...... guess what ........ Whether traumatic childbirth affects maternal mental health Grin its very therapeutic!

Jacksmania · 10/07/2012 19:18

Well, that should be a very short masters piece.
All you need to write is "well, DUH!" :o

Seriously, though - that's fab. I'm so pleased for you. It's four and a bit years on for me, and I'm still having a bit of treatment... mostly very successful... but what makes me sad is that I see I have changed a lot as a person, and in some ways, the changes aren't good.

However - apologies OP for hijacking your thread - I really hope you can tell your MIL to shove it that she's nuts and get your DH behind you. Best of luck!!

mosschops30 · 10/07/2012 19:35

jacks im really sorry to hear youre still suffering. Just remember that life has the potential to change us every day, in a good way or not, we have no control over it.
Try and find some positives Smile

Jacksmania · 10/07/2012 19:55

Not all the changes are negative :)
Thank you though Thanks
