Here are three that I have found:

(all free on iPhone)

  • full term (contraction timer)
  • ibirth contraction timer
  • hypno 4 birth (though it does play up a bit)
  • hypnosis
  • ibabylog

Any others?

I used contractionmaster last time. www.contractionmaster.com/
It was decent as very simple and clear to check when contractions were coming regularly enough to make a move to hospital.

I'd just stick with one to check whether your in established labour. If you have enough time and patience to fanny around with multiple apps it's probably very early days labour and you might be better off getting on with something else so the time doesn't drag too much!

Ye gods does there have to be an app for everything?!

Flisspaps · 15/05/2012 14:29

All pointless.

Hahaha
If only childbirth was predictable enough for an app

I also used contraction master - v easy to use and helped keep track of frequency, length and strength of contractions.
