a few days after birth ...maybe 2 weeks because my breastmilk just wasnt coming in so baby needed the comfort on sucking on something and once started the dummy slept so much better and longer and hardly cried..
she would only suck for a few minutes then drop it out but it got her to sleep

she used it for 2. 5 years...amazingly useful on long haul flights...i fly 5 times a year as was abroad and travelled back to see family

couldnt have lived without it ...i remember non dummy mums babies just cried a lot more and they were rocking the babies and holding them all day ...it was a blessing and i will def do it again ....my toddler only stopped a few months ago ...just hope she doesnt steal the babys when i give him on e
highly recommend it

2.5 days old - our very first night home from hospital. It was like the magic "off" button. We used it liberally thereafter, and I think we became more dependant on it than our DD. She is 10 months old today. Still breastfeeding, still uses the dummy during sleepy time, but she doesn't ask for it during the day... just when she's tired.
