Just watch part of it but decided it wouldn't have been relevant for me as I wouldn't have seen heads first as both twins came out bum first and one wasn't breathing so rushed to scbu. I did have skin to skin in recovery with dtd2 and I held her but wrapped up in theatre while they stitched me, which was wonderful. I do believe skin to skin asap is important as dtd2 bfed well but dtd1 was always a struggle to get to latch well but I didn't see her for 6 hours and didn't feed her for even longer as she was on a drip.

Nice to have the option for some. tbh I was just worried whether my babies would be okay and couldn't care less about anything else... I gather there was music playing but I didn't notice :)

How does delayed cord clamping in a CS actually affect infection control? After all it means leaving the surgical wound open for longer, whilst still having a baby and the cord attached to it?
