I have had 3 children, my last being 16 years ago. DS2 was born in 1hr 10 mins and DS3 was 50 mins.
I am now 38+3 and wondering even after a 16 yr gap do u think I will labour quickly? This child is with my new partner.

I live 45 mins from my hospital so I am quite anxious about getting there so have a provisional homebirth booked too just incase lol.

Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

It is generally considered that a woman's body returns to approximately its original state after 5 years after child birth.
It is said that a 5 year gap between births results in labour being more like the first time than any subsequent births.
However, 16 years is a long time and I'm not sure what other factors might be relevant...
