I have 3 children, the youngest being just 9 weeks, the problem is i'd love to have another child in the near future, mad or what!!! I'd love to hear from you mums who have 4 plus children to hear what life is really like, is having 4 not that different to having 3 etc. Also how was giving birth to your fourth or more child, does it get easier the more you have??? Any advice and tips would be appreciated.

ive just had my fourth, shes 8 weeks. ive got a 9yr old,6yr old and 19month old. i am really quite hassled at the moment and NEVER have a minute to myself.i don't think its the fact that ive got four kids though, just the age gap between the younger two is close. the baby is no trouble but my toddler is demanding (as they all are)and coping with lack of sleep is difficult.i know it will get easier with time though, and ive no regrets.the best thing of all is when you go out with them all, people do a second look, and you can see them doing a head count!

p.s. giving birth to a fourth baby really hurts, just the same, nothing changes there!

I have 4 - 11, 9, 7 and 3 weeks! I suppose it depends on the age gap. It was hard with 3 under 4 but now I have all the demands of comprehensive homework, after school activities and combing for headlice whilst breastfeeding for example! I don't think 4 is that much harder than 3 but you begin to run out of house space, car space etc!

PS labours do get quicker IME
