Exercising after a c-section

Evening ladies

I'm just looking for a bit of advice. I had an emergency c-section nearly 8 weeks ago and am looking to lose some of the flab before the summer. I'm realistic and dont expect miracles over night, but anything will be an improvement! With some exercise and healthy eating (nothing too extreme) i'm hoping to feel a bit better about my body in the coming months.

I'm just looking for some advice on how to get back into exercising. Could I maybe do an exercise DVD a couple of times a week? I'm not a gym person, and don't think i'd have time anyway now with DS.

Saw the doc at 6 and 8 weeks who said i'm fit and healthy after the section.

Anyone who has previous experience i'd be really grateful to hear from you.

I'd second BuggyFit/BuggyMovers/PushyMums, walking and swimming. I started running again after 12 weeks too.

Thanks ladies, I'll look into what classes are in my area. I'm trying to walk as much as I can at the moment, the shops are about a 30 minute walk from home so i'm nipping out for milk etc a couple of times a week, trying to get in a good walk at least 3 times a week at the moment.

Another one who thought buggyfit type class was great. Also started running again after 5 weeks.
