Well, I had much stronger BH in first than second, but went into labour a few days late both times (in fact, 2 days later in first pg when bh were stronger).

Not in my experience! BH started around 30wks with DD1 and were a little uncomfortable, and she was 9 days late. They started at 17wks with DD2, were bloody uncomfortable and she was 11 days late! No no.3 here! Grin

No. Had no bh with first. Waters broke at 37 weeks with no other symptoms of labour.

This time, bh since about 30 weeks. Now 39 weeks with masses of additional prelabour symptoms, cramps, loads of intense bh, back ache etc - no sign of labour actually starting.

Sorry.

no it's normal to have stronger BH in 2nd (or subsequent) pregnancies, and for them to start earlier :)

No. Braxton hicks started at 14 weeks with dc4. Impossible according to midwife! They got so strong that I had to stop walking until they passed. I did find that if I did too much they increased, so I rested as much as possible just incase! Baby born a week late.
