Arrgghhh!!!! i cannot BELIEVE tomorrow is potentially my induction day- this never even entered my head when thinking about my birth. Am only +14, so still at 42 weeks which I know is still in the norm. I so want my homebirth, but it is looking so unlikely now. Why hasnt this baby popped?!? My other DCs came without any problems. My last labour was so easy, under 2.5 hours and I thought the same would happen this time round, in the comfort of my own home in my birthing pool.

We're going to go in tomorrow and I want to know what they plan on doing. I wont need a pessary as I am already 2-3 cm dilated, so Im guessing membrane rupture. But I know if they do that then I am going to be on the clock before they want to intervene with drugs. Oh i hate the thought of it, unbearable. I was going to ask if they broke my waters a)how long i'd have before they intervened again, b) if i could go home, and c) if i cant go home can i use the birthing pool.

Sigh. dont know what else to do. Just having a moan.

Good. Either way, at some point in the next week or so you are going to have a newborn to deal with and that's more than knackering. Enjoy the peace, enjoy the shops and make time to be bored :)
