How far overdue with your first baby did you go?

Hi ladies.

I'm 10 days over today and well and truly fed up of it! That said in still looking for positive stories of people that went way over and still birthed naturally...or if you must a positive induction story although I am trying not to think about that yet!

Is it possible that this LO will arrive in the next 3-4 days or should I resign self to intervention...!

Three weeks and three days.

You heard me.

13 days over with both of mine. Was induced both times. Tbh esp with ds (dc1) I really don't think he was planning on coming out anytime soon. Also, dd was 13 days late by their dates but by mine which are right she was almost 3 weeks overdue.

Was induced at 4 days over due to leaking waters.

You know why the hormone found in semen is the same as that used to induce you?

BECAUSE THEY INDUCE YOU BY SQUIRTING PIG SEMEN UP YOUR CHUFF.

11 days with ds, had induction booked for the next day.

I'm now 40+9 with dc2, hoping to start naturally again and escape induction.

41+4. Had 2 sweeps and the second one did the trick along with a big steak lunch, large glass of wine and plenty of walking and stairs. It was the one day I didn't make sure I had loads of sleep! But went into labour that night and had pretty textbook progression and managed to avoid induction.

I was 12 days overdue, sat in hospital waiting for the prostin gel when my waters went and I laboured naturally with just gas and air, DD was born 4.5 hours later!

3 sweeps, induction at 40+9, DD born by EMCS at 40+11.
Bah. Fingers crossed for an all-round more natural experience next time :o

DC1 14 days over and induction process took 4 days before they could break my waters.
Exactly the same with DC2. MW has told me the likelihood is that the same will happen with the arrival of DC3!
Had sweeps, curry, pineapple the lot. None of it works unless they're ready to make an appearance!
