Hi socks

I had a second degree tear and I remember the midwife that visited me after the birth asked me how my stitches were and if I wanted her to check them.

I think it should have been written in your notes. Most details about the birth are i thought? Perhaps it was forgotten.

Hope your ok down there!

I had a mini one with my first birth and it wasn't noted - half the professionals I saw weren't aware, half wanted to check my stitch (just the one). If it's big enough to be causing you discomfort or worse it should be noted, definitely. Should be noted anyway.
