We are on the other thread at the moment, but not sure how much longer it has to go.

Most are still on other thread, some are here as other one won't load for them. No update on other thread as yet.

I am still here, lurking on both threads.

Am hoping that all is well - clearly if ISBN is here then nickelbabe and her friends are going to be FAR too busy to want to internet even for a second.

And am hoping that nickel hasn't had to transfer in for any reason, although if she has, then to get to at least the near-transition stage at home, having fought off the overdramatic consultant two days ago, and to have gone into labour and done the bulk of it at home with a TENS machine then that really IS something to be proud of :)

Right, well, where to start? This has been a helluva rollercoaster ride. Nickel pushed for over 2 hours and ended up with a very very VERY sore episiotomy and a 999 call. Baby had hand up by neck and cord wrapped twice. Baby arrived before the ambulance crew but they were outside anyway so they've popped in to wait for placenta to be delivered.

Nickel has a baby GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Born just after midnight making her a 12/12 baby. No weight yet

I have to say, other than the actual birth announcement, my favourite part of the whole weekend was the massive of stampede of Mnetters back and forth between threads, completely with comedy hysterical cries of "stay here" "comeback" and general alround gibbering about what to do

Apparently we're now saying the 11th so we shall see. She's gone off in an ambulance to be sutured and have bleeding better controlled. Baby's gone with and Daddy followed in the car. Off to have a little clear up before they get back.

As of 8 am Nickel is still in and they may be transferring her to the ward later. That's all I know. I spoke to Mr Nickel briefly to ask about keys and cat food and she was eating tea and toast in the background so that's a good sign.

All I can say is Little ISBN is a BEAUTIFUL babe. Pretty little features and she came out all pink and wailing last night. She handled her birth experience fabulously too and because she was coping so well Nickel was able to keep going and get her HB. So YAY to team Mummy/Baby Nickel

What a bloody relief for all of us - this has of course been far more about us than the Nickel family, natch ...

Has anyone heard how Nickle is now? its been a few days and it sounds like she was in the wars a tad. Hoping she is happily snuggling ISBN and too busy to update.... or perhaps she has and I have missed it

I was wondering too Silly, I hope she and brand new baby are ok.
I thought I'd missed the name, weight, story etc but maybe not.

she's just replied to a (totally non baby related) post I tagged her in on FB - so she's around I think now, don't think she's posted anything baby related anywhere that 've seen though
